4:50 am	My subconscious mind has unbelievable powers So I was dreaming about my cats and how one of them was poisoned and got really sick because they were eating that little silica gel stuff that comes with clothing. Why I would dream of this I have no idea. I don't really have any silica gel in my house nor have I recently bought any clothing that might contain such gel. Anyway the next day as Im walking up the stars I saw a half chewed little bag of silica gel!!! The cats fortunately weren't able to get into it, but they sure as hell wanted to! Anyway my brain must have somehow registered it, and harnessed it into one of my dreams. I found it pretty amazing, because there was really no way I could have ever consciously thought that I had this stuff in my house, but the dream was really vivid. (1 Comment |Comment on this)

5:01 pm	Proof of how fucked up the USA is.... Arnold Schwartzenegger is GOVERNER OF CALIFORNIA??????? What is that? Can anyone explain how this happened? I shouldn't be reading the following headline: "Schwarzenegger to order troops to border (AP)" Anyway there isn't much more to say than that. (Comment on this)

3:13 pm	Religios Persecution So I signed up on match.com a few days ago when out of the blue I get the following message from someone. "HI! I saw your profile and clicked on it mainly due to the pink wig in your picture. I must say right off the bat that unfortunately you being agnostic means it simply will not work between us. I'm picky that way. However, I just had to tell you that i love the list making! Very cute and efficient. My own pet peeves include guys who don't list their education, occupation, and sign! Wassup with that? Mary" Ok now what's funny about it is that her profile made her sound pretty cool and I actually added her to some list of someone I would consider writing to in the future. But ok in any case she contacted me. Now in the VERY first paragraph she talks about religion and how my religious beliefs mean it won't "work" between us. Normally one would assume this is a joke, because why in the world is she sending me a message out of the blue only to give me a reason why it won't work between us. So I did some research, and when I looked closely at her profile she did mention that she was Christian/Catholic, and when it listed for people she was looking to meet it was listed as follows: "Christian / LDS, Christian / Other, Christian / Protestant, Spiritual but not religious, Christian / Catholic" (Of course I don't list anything for this in my profile because I really don't give a crap) In any case I'm really not looking for anyone to date or go out with like most everyone else on there is, I'm just trying to meet people. But this was just too weird. Anyway I sent her some response expressing my confusion and basically asking if she was serious about it. She said no, sorry to have offended me and expressed surprise that I would have even considered she was serious. And that just about ended our correspondence! I mean why would she list her religion, explain briefly why it ws important to her, then list religions of people she wants to meet that specifically excludes what I have listed, and then be SURPRISED when I take her seriously! 5:49 pm	Clothes Something worries me about the world when I see pepole out in the 100 degree weather wearing stuffy and uncomfortable suits and shirts. I can't believe that we live in a world where being "presentable" is more important than the basic need of human comfort. I was in line to buy water ice and saw five obvious business men type of people wearing the most ridiculously unseasonal clothing. Anyway that's all. I personally wish I could just walk around wearing only some light shorts and shoes/sandals in this kind of weather. Whenever it would get too hot I'd have a cold bottle of water with me to just pour it on my head and feel the cold water against my skin underneath the hot sun. Somehow the presence of a shirt makes this idea less appealing, as the relationship between the body and the shirt causes some unpleasantness. (2 Comments |Comment on this)
5:32 pm	I'm back!!! I've decided to start updating my LiveJournal again after years of inactivity. I don't know how many people on my list of friends even remember/know me, but please enjoy whatever I have to say. I will probably not be sharing the triviliaties of my daily life and will be withholding any and all information about my poker career as I have a seperate outlet for that. (Comment on this)
